The Baby-Sitters Club is in trouble. An older group of girls has started The Baby-Sitting Agency and the BSC is losing clients. The girls try new marketing ideas but nothing seems to help. Can they survive the competition?
Stacey has worse problems on her mind, though. Her parents want her to see another doctor about her diabetes. The appointment is in New York and worst of all they'll be staying at her ex-best friends house. The ex-best friend who turned on her when she found out she had diabetes.
